The significance is on the glaze, where several different effects are created. Crystalline glaze possesses unique aesthetic qualities. It resembles sprouting seeds, free-flowing and spreading. The effects on the surface are remarkably natural and appear without any deliberate arrangement. Achieving such distinct effects requires great patience, along with the formulation of glazes and firing processes. The cooling time in the kiln is when the crystals begin to form.
